Happy Thanksgiving weekend!

My family and I had a feast-less Thanksgiving this year for the first time..We ate leftovers for dinner, but this year I actually got to thinking a lot more about how I'm so incredibly blessed. Maybe I'm too distracted other years by all the food.

But what a huge disparity there is between the kind of life we live and that endured by the homeless, abused, impoverished, hungry... I woke up last night extremely cold even under a thick blanket, and I just needed to get under another thick blanket under me to get warmer... I can't even imagine being out there in the cold, without a blanket, needless to say two, without a roof over one's head, without even leftovers on Thanksgiving, or any day of the year.

So I spent the morning searching, and found you can donate a coat to the homeless at local malls and such: BigWarmUp.com. And the post below is a new grassroots movement that funnels donations to different orgs they've checked out for legitness: onedayswages.org. It's super refreshing to see how much fuel they've gotten in both supporters and donations.

Anywho..I stumbled upon some pictures from the summer :).
These are my beautiful sisters, youngest to oldest:

And this one's of my apartment, I found those writing decors you can put on the wall at the dollar store. And I was about to buy it for $15 from Target! Thank Jesus.

"Love well. Laugh often. Love always."
And "Inspire" on the top, an oldie from my freshman year desk:).

A picture of me taking a picture...but sadly, it ain't my camera. (Andrey, found the pictures!). Oh beautiful SLR, I will have you one day, one day.
Excuse the nakeyness of the lady to your left.

I'm daunted by how much I have to study for finals (3 on the first day, wooo)..so think this will be a farewell til it's all ovaa.
