EXCITED for life.

Haha, I have my rare bouts of optimism. :)

But this is what I'm excited for:
  • Luke18 Summit at UCLA! May 22-24. It's like, IHOP come to LA for 3 days, WAHOO.
  • STP (Summer Training Program) with my fellowship May 31-June 13. Two weeks of bibling, EV-ing, fellowshiping, good stuff.
  • Father's Day, so I can give my dad a Bible! I'm planning to engrave it so he will be more likely to use it. Hahah.
  • Summer Camp at BLCC. I get to teach little ones!! Ahhhhhh. Pretty exciting..I've actually been thinking, amid another phase of pre-med second thoughts, about teaching. Been realizing in the past few months what a big role teachers have in kids' development, especially on my trip to Baltimore and seeing how bad the public school system is there, resulting in a lot of delinquent kids. Our UHOP mother also prayed for me recently and sensed I was going to be teaching in the future (when I reminded her I'm pre-med, she said 'maybe in a teaching hospital' hahaha) but...this might be my first direction from God! PTL, I've been worrying and praying for SOME direction for yeeears. Although, last I remember, I was horrible at teaching lol. But it's always the most gratifying thing in the world, seeing kids start to understand something..so wherever He leads, I might end up to be a horrible teacher, or a doctor who leads residents to brand the knife into organs, but a happy one at that. Haha..totally kidding.
  • Yogurtland. Haha. And going as much as possible with Linda before she takes off to NorCal in the fall =(.
  • On a nerdy note, I'm applying to do some research next school year, and it's getting me super excited lol. I hope I can get one in psychobiology or something..I cried twice reading about schizophrenia for my psych final haha. Call me emotional, but it's a sad illness. People with schizophrenia who live in developing countries are more likely to get better than those in developed, because they're less likely to be classified as 'crazy' and abandoned by family and friends. Sigh.
This is what I'm NOT excited for:
  • OChem b at CSUF.
  • Ethan leaving. Who's gonna teach me how to sense angels and let me use their closet to pray and prophesy for me over dinner??
Sigh. That makes two of my best friends to be too many miles away to enjoy Yogurtland with. I really, really hate talking on the phone too, so this makes it worse. Haha. Oh gosh, what will I do without you two..

I leave you with a random photo of Yogurtland workers. Look at them, they're so happy. Cause they work at Yogurtland!
